Jeff Sili has been a Systems Engineer for 29 years. He has worked extensively in the Aegis Combat System and the Aegis Weapon Systems in the transition from the military standard environment to Commercial-Off-the-Shelf designs as a member of the Navy Review Team. Jeff has worked supporting the Missile Defense Agency’s Ballistic Missile Defense System, and in the SQQ-89A (V) Surface Ship Undersea Warfare Combat System to develop the Torpedo Weapon System. His latest project was to develop the Naval Control System Cyber Security Functional Requirements Document in addition to developing the Cyber Security Strategy Document as part of the Advanced Capability Build 20 for the Aegis Combat System. Throughout his career he has used the Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) approach with Vitech’s CORE product.
